I build the software — and sometimes the hardware it runs on.

I'm Lupu Marius Gabriel, a full-stack developer with 6+ years shipping secure admin platforms, payments tooling and real-time dashboards. Off the clock I design PCBs and tinker with embedded C/C++ — a hobby that keeps me thinking from the silicon up, not just the screen down.

01 // about

Most developers stop at the API boundary. I keep going — down to the board, the firmware and the constraints of the physical thing.

For six-plus years I've designed and scaled multi-tenant admin platforms — user management, financial workflows, role-based permissions, full audit trails and exportable analytics — on a shared codebase that bends per customer without forking.

I work across Node.js, PHP/Laravel and modern frontends in React, Angular and Vue, with AWS, Docker and CI/CD running it in production. The through-line is always the same: performance, reliability and security I'd trust with my own money.

Away from the editor I'm soldering PCBs, flashing keyboard firmware and CADding parts. I like things that are solid and worry-free — and I'm happiest when a problem is hard enough to be interesting.

Six years of shipping things that can't break.

Platforms that handle money, access and audits — where "mostly works" isn't an option.

REI Development Services
  • Designed and scaled multi-tenant admin platforms: user management, financial workflows and operational reporting with role-based permissions, full audit trails and exportable analytics.
  • Architected configurable per-customer behaviour on a shared codebase — consistent deployments across many clients with isolated settings and branding.
  • Built secure account and transaction tooling — monitoring, review queues, access controls — with end-to-end traceability for compliance and audits.
  • Delivered analytics and compliance dashboards with exports and activity timelines that cut manual reporting and review time.

Independent
  • Feature development, refactoring and production maintenance across multiple client products — mostly frontend-heavy apps and back-office tooling.
  • Partnered directly with stakeholders to iterate on UX and workflows; owned releases end to end, including testing, debugging and production hotfixes.

Things I built because I wanted them to exist.

Side projects where the brief was my own — from browser CAD to a keyboard I designed the board for.

3D Modeling App — Browser CAD

A parametric 2D/3D CAD editor that runs in the browser: sketch-based modeling with constraints and dimensions, extrude & revolve, and a full feature tree / timeline.

Integrated OpenCascade.js and Manifold-3D for B-rep and mesh geometry, with constraint visualisation and snapping. The kind of problem that sits right at the edge of what a browser should be able to do — which is exactly why I built it.

FlowPatch

A desktop Kanban app that binds to your local Git repos and syncs issues, PRs and MRs from GitHub or GitLab into one unified board — with provider adapters over gh/glab, two-way sync, and automation driven by an AI CLI right in the terminal.

ElectronReactNode.jsGitHub / GitLabAI CLI

Remappr

An Electron + React tool for ZMK/QMK keyboards that lets people remap and reconfigure how their board behaves — visual editors for layers, bindings and behaviours, theming, and an extensible component system.

RMS / CMP — Admin Platforms

Administration tooling for account management, live monitoring, reporting and role-based access control, with multi-tenant patterns that support many customers on configurable settings and branding.

When I'm not shipping software, I'm building hardware.

PCB design, embedded C/C++ and Fusion 360 are a hobby — and the reason I reason naturally about latency, reliability and what's actually happening underneath the abstraction.

Got something hard to build?

I'm open to remote roles and contract work. If it's secure, performance-sensitive or sits somewhere between software and hardware — that's exactly my kind of problem.
